Casualties in explosion at Connecticut power plant



MIDDLETOWN, CT – A thunderous explosion at a gas fired power plant low cerebration could be heard for miles and polity said there are an unknown number of casualties.

The explosion took place at NRG Power Plant on River Road. According to their web place they are building a fossil-fueled automobile generating plant in the state. The plant uses uncolored gas oil and ultra low-sulfur distillate fuel.

The Middletown Fire Department addicted in a sound discourse that they were actively working on a fire.

CNN reported at least digit dead. But polity said there could be more victims.

Middletown Police said they are still in the process of counting the injured. At least two, possibly three area hospitals are receiving the injured.

“The building is not leveled but it is absent some parts,” said police.

A receptionist at Middlesex Hospital addicted in a sound discourse that they are receiving victims from the explosion.
